RCS Analytics

RCS Analytics is the reporting tool for the Native RCS channel. It also includes information related to SMS Fallback when this channel is configured.

Compared to the SMS to RCS report, the interface has been completely redesigned to better meet your needs and provide a much smoother experience.

After navigating to Side Menu > RCS > RCS Analytics, you'll see the section where you can generate your Consolidated Report. You can choose whether to include SMS Fallback data or not.

In the calendar, you can select a specific period (day, week, or month) or view data in predefined ranges (last 60, 90, 120, or 180 days).

Please note that this view displays consolidated MT + MO data. If you'd like to view these metrics separately, simply access the Detailed Report.

After generating your Consolidated Report, you'll be able to view the chart below, which provides all of the following information:

This view provides the filters available in the Detailed Report.

Here, you'll find many more fields and data points, allowing you to select exactly what you want to display and arrange the information in any order you prefer.

If you'd like to understand the key differences between this report and the one previously available for the SMS-to-RCS channel, here are the main points:

  • Most of the existing filters have been retained.

  • RCS Analytics introduces new filters, such as:

    • Status Description, which provides more detailed information about your message status;

    • Message Type, allowing you to distinguish between rich cards, carousels, and text messages;

    • Sender ID.

  • The Shortcode filter is no longer available, as subaccounts can now be configured by shortcode.

  • Filters such as Scheduled For, Read, Created At, and original_UUID are no longer available. The information they provided is already covered by the current filters available in RCS Analytics.
