# WhatsApp Embedded Signup

Before you start using WhatsApp, sending and receiving messages from your customers, you first need to sign up for a Facebook account, a WhatsApp account, and link a phone number to these accounts in addition to being approved by Facebook itself.

Don’t worry, just follow this guide to set up your WhatsApp account from scratch in just a few minutes within the Messaging platform. If your company already has a Business Manager or WABA, this process will be even simpler.
